I used to think working harder and making more money were the only keys to success.
I ranked in the top tier of all advisors in my firm.
I brought in more new business than peers who had been in business 5, 10, and even 20 years longer than me.
Plus, I was bringing in fee-based assets using a financial planning approach in a world where commissions had been king.
And I had great team and wonderful clients.
But I wasn’t really happy.
There had to be more than just working 50 or 60 hours a week.
